If you’re civically active in Southeast Queens, then you know that there are a lot of people striving to build community and expand opportunities through service projects. Having supported hundreds of grant projects during my time at Citizens Committee for New York City, I’ve seen the value of the crucial and consistent work that the Showing Hearts Foundation has done; developing neighbors into community leaders through access to resources and training. It is an asset to my hometown, and we all need to continue lifting this organization up!
